GUILLAUME TALBI
Guillaume Talbi lives and works in France. His practice constructs a shared realm between plant life, the human body, and a spiritual sense of nature: an evolving imagery of anthropomorphic branches, curled bodies, and metamorphic organisms—an organic grammar suspended between dream and ecosystem.
His paintings are built with a palette knife through rhythmic fields of color and subtle bas-relief textures, giving the image a tactile presence and heightened chromatic tension.
In parallel, Talbi expands this research into sculpture, where notions of balance and opposing forces (black/white, geometry/organics) echo a yin-yang dynamic and a sensitivity to Zen culture.
Across painting, ceramics and sculpture, his work forms a contemporary mythology—quietly non-anthropocentric—where shapes appear to grow, shift and mutate over time.
